As of December 1, 2022, the Museums and Interpretive Centers of the Municipality of Estremoz, in Alentejo region of Portugal, will have a single ticket.
For 6,5€ you can buy the “Estremoz Museums Total” ticker and visit:
- Municipal Museum of Estremoz
- Interpretive Center of “Bonecos de Estremoz”
- Interpretative Center of the Convention of Evoramonte
- Tower/Place Ducal of Evoramonte
- Berardo Museum of Estremoz
If you are a group of 10 visitors (inclusive) the ticket will cost 50€ and is valid for one year, so the visitor will enjoy it according to his/her availability.
Exemptions for people with disabilities and/or limited mobility were also extended, in addition to the existing ones, such as children under the age of 12 (inclusive), members of APOM, ICOM and study tours (teachers and students of any level of official education).
The temporary exhibition rooms, namely the Exhibition Room of the Municipal Museum, the Municipal Gallery D. Dinis, the Temporary Exhibition Room of the Tower/Paço Ducal and the “Tomaz Alcaide” Exhibition Room of the Bernardim Ribeiro Theatre will remain open for free.
The aim of this initiative is to encourage visits to these spaces, promote the social function of culture and knowledge of the museum heritage, as well as working actively in the tourist development of the county, particularly in the movement of visitors and their stay in Estremoz.
